Terms of Service
Amanda Pointer LLC, DBA Itineraries by Amanda, a Colorado limited liability company
Last updated: 07/20/2026
By booking a service, paying an invoice, or otherwise engaging Itineraries by Amanda ("I," "me," "my"), you ("client," "you") agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Services Offered
Itineraries by Amanda offers three services, each with its own scope and terms:
Travel Consultation Call — $150
Custom Itinerary Planning — starting at $500
Booking Service — complimentary, commission-based
Details for each are outlined below. If you're not sure which service fits your trip, fill out my contact form and I’ll help you find the best option for your needs.
2. Travel Consultation Call
The Consultation Call is a single 60-minute video call plus a follow-up email summary of what we discussed.
Payment is due in full ($150) before the call is scheduled.
If you decide to upgrade to Custom Itinerary Planning for the same trip, your $150 will be credited toward your deposit. This credit is only available for the trip discussed on the original call and does not carry over to unrelated trips.
The Consultation Call does not include any itinerary document, booking, or follow-up planning work beyond the recap email.
3. Custom Itinerary PlanninG
Custom Itinerary Planning includes a 40-minute discovery call, a fully custom day-by-day itinerary, curated accommodation and dining recommendations, and a mobile-friendly digital itinerary with a custom map.
Pricing is based on trip length, starting at $500 for trips up to 7 days, $750 for trips 8-14 days and custom pricing for longer trips. Full pricing is available at booking or upon request.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required before any planning work begins. The remaining balance is due in full before I proceed with any bookings on your behalf.
The estimated timeline from discovery call to final delivered itinerary is 3–4 weeks, depending on trip complexity and how quickly you respond to requests for input or approval. Timelines may extend during high-volume periods; if this applies to your project, I'll communicate an updated timeline as early as possible.
Itinerary proposals are built using your discovery call notes and any traveler preferences submitted. Reasonable adjustments during the proposal review stage are included as part of the planning process. This is a collaborative, iterative service, not a one-time deliverable with a hard edit limit.
Planning is scoped to the trip and preferences discussed during your discovery call, and requests that meaningfully expand or change that scope (new destinations, added travelers, a different trip length) may require an updated quote.
4. Booking Service
The Booking Service covers full booking of flights, accommodations, and experiences on your behalf, using the details and preferences you provide.
When booking is provided alongside Custom Itinerary Planning, it is complimentary. I'm compensated through commissions paid by travel suppliers, not by a fee charged to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
When booking is requested as a standalone service (without Custom Itinerary Planning), a service fee may apply in addition to any supplier commissions. If applicable, this fee will be disclosed to you in advance and reflected as a line item on your booking invoice.
Agent-only perks (such as room upgrades, resort credits, or amenities) are extended where available through my travel agency partnerships. Perks vary by property, supplier, and season and are never guaranteed.
Before any booking is made, you'll be asked to complete a Credit Card Authorization Form. No booking will be made on your behalf without a signed authorization.
Once a booking is confirmed, changes and cancellations are subject to the individual policies of each airline, hotel, or tour operator. I'll do everything I can to assist with changes after booking, but I am not able to override supplier policies or guarantee refunds, rebooking, or fee waivers.
Flights booked in business or first class, and select other bookings, may be routed through my travel agency partner, Travel Savvy Agency, for processing. This does not change your total cost or the terms above.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed via Stripe invoice unless otherwise noted.
Deposits (where applicable) are non-refundable once submitted, as they compensate time and work that begins immediately upon receipt.
Final balances must be paid in full before any bookings are made on your behalf. No booking will proceed on an unpaid invoice.
Late payment may delay your itinerary delivery timeline or booking window. I'll always communicate proactively if a delay is likely to affect your travel dates.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Before planning begins: Deposits are non-refundable once paid, as they secure your place in my project queue and compensate for time spent on discovery and initial planning.
After a proposal is built but before bookings are made: Deposits remain non-refundable. Any additional payments made toward planning work already completed are also non-refundable.
After bookings are made: Cancellations are subject to the individual cancellation and refund policies of each airline, hotel, tour operator, or other third-party supplier. I am not able to offer refunds on amounts already paid to suppliers on your behalf, and I am not responsible for supplier-imposed cancellation fees or penalties.
I strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip I plan or book, precisely because of the cancellation terms above. See Section 8.
7. Client Responsibilities
You're responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information, including traveler names exactly as they appear on passports or government ID, passport expiration dates, and any relevant medical, dietary, or accessibility needs.
You're responsible for confirming that all travel documents (passports, visas, vaccination requirements, etc.) meet the entry requirements of your destination(s). I'm happy to point you toward resources, but final responsibility for documentation and entry eligibility rests with you.
You're responsible for reviewing your itinerary and booking confirmations promptly and flagging any errors or concerns as soon as possible.
8. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in any service and is never automatically purchased on your behalf. I strongly recommend all travelers obtain a policy to protect against trip cancellation, interruption, delay, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events. I'm happy to help you get a quote, but I am not a licensed insurance agent and cannot advise on specific coverage or policy terms. If you decline travel insurance, you accept full responsibility for that decision.
9. Limitation of Liability
Itineraries by Amanda plans and books travel in good faith using licensed third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other vendors). I am not liable for:
Flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or overbooking
Hotel, tour, or activity provider closures, quality issues, or cancellations
Weather, natural disasters, political events, or other circumstances outside my control
Visa denials, entry refusals, or documentation issues
Any loss, injury, or damage arising during travel
My role is to plan, recommend, and facilitate bookings. I am not the operator of the flights, accommodations, or experiences included in your itinerary, and I am not responsible for their performance.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time you book a service or pay an invoice is the version that applies to your engagement.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Questions
If anything here is unclear, reach out any time at hello@itinerariesbyamanda.com before booking. I'm always happy to talk through how this works.
By paying an invoice or deposit for any service listed above, you acknowledge that you have read, understood,
and agreed to these Terms of Service.
